Welcome to Davis Park Elementary School!
Hello Davis Park families. My name is Tammy Roeschlein and I have had the wonderful opportunity to be the principal at Davis Park Elementary School since 2006. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree, Master of Education degree, and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Indiana State University. I believe in being kind, working together, appreciating diversity, having a sense of humor, valuing all individuals, and showing respect to everyone. I work hard, along with our teachers and staff, to model these invaluable qualities every day. The best part of being a principal is the opportunity to work with our children and families.
Whether you are a student, parent, or staff member, Davis Park is truly an amazing place. Our school focus is not on what a child cannot do, but instead is on what each student can do and how we can use those strengths to improve and expand their academic skills. The educational well-being of our students is our school’s focus but making our school a safe place with our School Protection Officer and Visitor procedures is one of our main priorities.
Our dedicated teachers and staff work diligently to help all students achieve their educational potential and be successful. Our teachers provide standard based instruction, interventions, and experiences, which will enhance the knowledge and critical thinking skills of our students. Increasing student achievement and growth in all subjects, on local tests, and on state assessments as we closely monitor student progress, will continue to be our educational focus.
We are very proud of our Davis Park school community. I continually seek ways for us to improve as a whole, so your feedback is welcome. I understand the value of making sure there is good and open communication.
